Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul, Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She is an American actor from Afghanistan who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her home country the family relocated to the US. She was granted asylum, and were allowed to remain. Her sister in law took care of her in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada appeared as Chiara in the Laura Neri's movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For this performance, she received a nomination during the Festival of Cannes for Best Actress. Television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played the role of a support actress in the science-fiction action film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009).
